First Pack Meeting

Just a reminder that our first pack meeting will be Tuesday Sept. 28th @ 6:30 pm in the Halverson School Cafeteria! Can't wait to see you and share all the exciting fun for this year :)

Leave No Trace at Hammer Field

The last date is October 9th @ 7:00 am at Hammer Field. All scouts are expected to participate. If you are unable to do this date, please call us and we will have you work with the Boy Scouts on a different date. Thanks to all that have worked so far this year. Here is a picture of the group from last week! Great job scouts, keep up the good work :)

Summer Camps

Albert Lea 3rd of July Parade

Webelo I & II Scouts participated in the 3rd of July parade with Troop 7 and the Adventure Group. Here are some photos!

Take a kid Fishing

Hi Scouts! Hopefully summer is off to a great start for you! On Saturday June 12th from 9:00 am to Noon there is "Take a Kid Fishing" at Edgewater park. Kids under 16 can fish with out a license. A free fishing rod & reel will be given out to children! They will also have prizes! A good family fun event!

Also on another note. We were informed that all the tickets for all Twins games at the scouting rate are sold out. Just wanted everyone to know, in case someone was planning on going :)

Pack Graduation Reminder

Just a reminder that graduation is Tuesday May 25th, at 6:30 pm at Edgewater Park. Please meet by the top pavilion & play park. We have a guest speaker. Please bring your fishing poles and a snack or beverage to share. The pack will supply the bait. Parents, if you have fishing licenses, please make sure to bring them along!

Adventure Base 100

Last weekend we had 3 scouts attend the Adventure Base 100 @ the Mall of America. This is part of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting. There was virtual pinewood derby racing, museum, entertainment and best of all the ropes course!

Scouting for Food Totals ~Freeborn County

Hi Scouts! Thanks to all that helped with scouting for food. We received an email that said in Freeborn County we collected 4012 lbs of food by the end of the Scouting for Food drive on Saturday. Here a couple photos of the scouts from Pack 7! 5/10 I have updated the photo, to the whole group who participated that day! Thanks again for all your help!

Scouting for Food Reminder

Please remember that Saturday March 27th is Scouting for Food! We will meet at 1st Presbyterian Church at 9:30 am. From there we will split up and pick up food. If you are unable to participate, please remember to have your food out on your doorstep by 9:00 in a plastic bag. Thanks!

Pack Meeting Reminder

Hi scouting families! Our next pack meeting is Tuesday March 23rd at 6:30 pm at Halverson. Our meeting will include awards, Webelos II Crossover ceremony and a speaker from our scouting district. Bears bring snacks, Tigers bring drinks, Webelos will do the flag ceremony and skit. I also have information on belt sizes/costs for those of you that were interested. Sign up for the "scouting for food" on 3/27 will be at this meeting. All scouts are encouraged to participate. We will also be able to answer your questions on summer camping opportunities after the meeting. See you there!

Washing fire trucks for Hayward Fire Dept.

Here is a photo of the children who helped wash the fire trucks! We had lots of fun and only got a little wet! The good news is that the trucks got clean :)

Norseland Scout Camp

What a wonderful winter weekend we had! There were 14 Adults and 17 Children that went to Norseland. The weekend was full of crafts, experiments, sledding, and food! Here are some pictures of us.
